INTRACOM
COCA-COLA Å.Å.Å. S.A.
INTRACOM : TRAVEL PLAN, Greece's largest Tour Operator, chose INTRACOM's FirstCLASSTM
INTRACOM, within the framework of its cooperation with Galileo Hellas, implemented recently another successful installation of FirstCLASSTM software package at Ôravel Plan, one of the largest and most modern Tour Operators in Greece.

Ôravel Plan, active in the area of travel and tourism services, is owned by EUROSTAR, a subsidiary of the well-known Greek Mass Media Lambrakis Press Group. According to ICAP data (12/2002), Eurostar transfers more than 110,000 persons annually and holds 10% of the Greek market. With a 120-member, multi-lingual, specialized personnel and an integrated electronic data network, Ôravel Plan covers all services pertaining to the travel and tourism sector.

The completion of FirstCLASSTM installation at Travel Plan enables this innovative Operator to both automate its internal procedures as well as distribute its product and services via its allied travel agents throughout Greece, but also via the Internet.

As Mr. Th. Bithas, Travel Plan General Manager, stated:

?FirstCLASS, now in tune with our ERP SAP/R3, will constitute our most powerful ally towards flawless and faster distribution of our products to our network of allied travel agents. FirstCLASS’ secure, easy, clear, and fast way of doing business, in combination with Galileo Hellas, assists us in maintaining our leading position within the Greek travel and tourism sector. But, first and foremost, FirstCLASS contributes to Travel Plan’s even faster growth through a robust and dynamic sales network throughout Greece, which has always been and remains a strategic priority to us.?

Within the framework of this project, amongst others, the on-line communication between FirstCLASS and SAP/R3 (Travel Plan’s corporate resource management system) was implemented. The features as well as the complexity of the project’s requirements once more prove INTRACOM’s ability to undertake important IT projects within the Greek private sector and international markets, having as basic competitive features its experience, expertise, its high-standard personnel, and its state-of-the-art products.

FirstCLASSTM has earned the trust and constitutes the choice of several of the most important companies active in travel and tourism services management and distribution in Europe, the United States and Middle East.
