| INTRACOM has signed a contract, budgeted at 2.5 million euros, with Syrian Telecommunications Establishment (STE), Syria?s primary telecom organization, following an international allocation to the lowest tender.
The project involves the supply of wireless digital access networks based on point-to-multipoint technology (INTRACOM manufactured IAS-W systems). By means of these systems, STE will support telephony, data and BRA-ISDN services provision in three Syrian prefectures as well as the capital, Damascus, thus significantly ameliorating the quality of its national telecom network. |
