ETHNIKI GREEK GENERAL INSURANCE CO
NEW BUSINESS PLAN 2005-2007: The Board of Directors of the company ETHNIKI GEN. INSURANCE CO. S.A., during its session on March 30, 2005, decided to propose to the impending Annual Ordinary General Assembly of the company the share capital increase of the company by euros 130,000,000, via the issue of new shares. The Board of Directors of the company, in its impending session will determine the terms of the said increase that will be submitted for approval in the aforementioned General Assembly. Also, the Board of Directors on its session of March 30, 2005 approved the three-year business plan of the company. This plan is aiming at a restructuring program in order to increase the profitability of the company. The Board of Directors of the National Bank of Greece is convinced for the success of the aforesaid plan and intends to participate in the relevant share capital increase of ETHNIKI GEN.INSURANCE CO. S.A. Total operating expenses will be kept steady during the three-year period, while the improvement of processes, according to the existing relevant planning, will increase the productivity of supporting services and branches, increasing at the same time the quality of service provided to customers. The key financial objectives of the business plan include, among other things, increases in production (from euros 594 millions in 2004 to euros 869 millions in 2007, i.e. 46%), after-tax profits (from euros 0.4 millions in 2004 to euros42 millions in 2007) and the return of own funds i.e. from 0.10% in 2004 to 22% in 2007.
COCA-COLA HELLENIC BOTTLING COMPANY S.A.
Athens, Greece - April 6, 2005 - Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company S.A. (Coca-Cola HBC, CCHBC) announced today additional information regarding the acquisition of Multon, a leading Russian fruit juice producer, which had been announced on 31 March 2005. Multon's acquisition cost will be covered equally by CCHBC and The Coca-Cola Company, which will also equally share in the financial results. CCHBC's share of the acquisition cost will be fully covered through CCHBC's existing debt facilities and internal cashflow and will not adversely impact the company's financial results. As previously announced, the acquisition of Multon is expected to yield significant cost and revenue synergies for CCHBC's Russian operations. The acquisition is expected to benefit CCHBC's EPS by approximately 6 Euro cents in 2005. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be finalized in April of 2005. Coca-Cola HBC is one of the world's largest bottlers of products of The Coca-Cola Company and has operations in 26 countries serving a population of more than 500 million people. CCHBC shares are listed on the Athens Exchange (ATHEX:EEEK), with secondary listings on the London (LSE:CCB) and Australian (ASX:CHB) Stock Exchanges. CCHBC's American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) are listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:CCH). NEW MILLENIUM INVESTMENTS S.A. - Mr.Spyros Capralos, Chairman of the ATHEX Board of Directors, taking into consideration the Hellenic Capital Market Commission Board of Directors decision, dated 21/4/2005, which approved the conversion of the company NEW MILLENIUM INVESTMENTS S.A. into a Mutual Fund, decided as of 22/4/2005, to place the shares of the aforesaid company under suspension.
