The company, following its announcement on 23.1.2004 announces that its BoD on 16.4.2004, according to article no 16 of the Law 2190/20, decided to sale through the ATHEX of up to 383,109 common treasury shares that had been purchased according to the decision of the General Meeting on 6.4.2001. The low sale price is 1 euro and the sales will take place from 24.4.2004 until 31.12.2004.

The President & CEO of ALFA ALFA HOLDINGS S.A. and ALTE TECHICAL CO Mr. Ap. Allamanis presented the prospects and the expected fundamentals of the Group, after the restructure of the activities and the refinance of the bank loans, during the Extraordinary General Meetings of the shareholders of ALFA ALFA HOLDINGS S.A. The Group notified the shareholders on the efficiency of the business movements that it materializes in the two main fields of activity: constructions and energy which consist the core business of ALFA ALFA HOLDINGS S.A. In the sector of constructions, ALTE S.A. reduced its obligations by 18% in 2003. The non-constructed balance amounts to 300 million euros. In the field of energy, after the operational restructure of the dutch company ESHA HOLDING B.V., the company ALFA ALFA ENERGY materializes a 5-year business plan through the expansion in new markets, new products and potential co-operations in joint ventures, in order to increase its turnover and profits. The consolidated turnover of ALFA ALFA HOLDINGS S.A. in 2004 is expected to amount to 375 million euros (+19%), whereas the consolidated pre-tax earnings are expected to exceed the amount of 25 million euros (+25%). The obligation of the Group - which were reduced by 25%- are expected to be restricted significantly also in 2004. In this context, the General Meetings of the shareholders of ALFA ALFA HOLDINGS S.A. and ALTE TECHNICAL Co decided the issue of bond loans convertible to shares of the companies, cancellation of the preference right of the existing shareholders, of 20 million euros in total (10 million euros for ALFA ALFA HOLDINGS S.A. and 10 million euros for ALTE), in order to reduce the bank loans.
RAINBOW COMPUTER S.A.
The pre-tax profits of RAINBOW COMPUTER S.A. in the 9-month period 1.7.2003 - 31.3.2004 amounted to 236,800 euros vs. 130,253 euros in the corresponding period of 2003, increased by 81.87%. The turnover amounted to 4,962,700 euros (+7.38%). The worldwide success of ipoD MP3 Player has already affected the Greek market and increases the interest of the consumers for Apple products.
BANK OF PIRAEUS
The Ordinary General Meeting of 7.4.2004 approved the dividend payment of 0.30 euros per share for 2003. Eligible to receive dividends were the shareholders of record on 7.4.2004. As of 8.4.2004 the share of the Bank is traded on the ATHEX ex-dividend. The company announces the signature of leasing contract concerning a store (500 sq.m.) in the Shopping Mall of Football Stadium 'G. Karaiskakis'. The company will develop a Multi-brand store which will consist of 11 shop-in-shop, where the customers may find the REPLAY fashion collection and the collections of the most famous casual footwear & clothing houses. The company has already signed co-operations contracts with the following companies: ELMEC SPORT (HARLEY-DAVIDSON, GAS and DOCKERS), RIDENCO (Timberland, Nautica, Robe di Kappa), VF Hellas (LEE and WRANGLER), O'NEILL. NEW MILLENIUM INVESTMENTS S.A. - Mr.Spyros Capralos, Chairman of the ATHEX Board of Directors, taking into consideration the Hellenic Capital Market Commission Board of Directors decision, dated 21/4/2005, which approved the conversion of the company NEW MILLENIUM INVESTMENTS S.A. into a Mutual Fund, decided as of 22/4/2005, to place the shares of the aforesaid company under suspension.
